BORE WELL CHILD RESCUE SYSTEM
Today’s major problem faced by human society is water scarcity, which leads to a large number of bore wells being sunk. These abandoned bore wells, in turn, have started to take many innocent lives.
This paper develops a Bore Well Child Rescue System for rescuing the trapped victim from a bore well in less time. In the past few years, there are many bore well deaths in India. The generally followed conventional methods for rescuing trapped victim takes a lot of time, usually 20-40 hrs., for bringing the victim out of the bore well. In spite of these efforts, the victim may not survive. It necessitates a need to design a new rescue system for these accidents instead of older methods.
The Bore Well Child Rescue System is provided with the newly developed revolving and stabilizing mechanisms for safe holding of the child. The different proximity non-vision sensors are used for detecting the victim's condition, depth from the ground, surrounding temperature, pressure. The present proposed design is capable of handling scenarios when the victim is stuck up at bottom and middle.
The Borewell Child Rescue System is proposed to reduce the risk involved during the child rescue operation by analyzing the situation and condition prevailing inside the tunnel. The remotely controlled system will go down the bore well and perform the action. The robot is operated through PC using wireless ZIGBEE technology and using a wireless camera.
